Family Resource Room

RCSC Drop-In Hours 

The Resource Center for Students with Children (SMSU, suite 462) is open for drop-in services Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, unless closed due to university closure or other center-based needs. Outside of these hours, please email [email protected] for assistance. Our Family Friendly Study Spaces in Karl Miller Center (KMC 150), Cramer Hall (CH 419), or Millar Library (visit the front desk for access) are also great places to study or take a break with attended children.

Family Resource Room

This room is equipped with a computer station, study space, lounge area, refreshment and snack station with microwave, and an area for children of all ages to play with toys and activities.

Clothing Closet

Everybody knows how quickly kids outgrow clothes and shoes - and how expensive new items can be! If your child is rapidly outgrowing all his or her clothes, stop by our clothing closet, and you may just find something fun and fitting for free! We have kids clothes of all styles and sizes.

We offer activity kits that contain age-appropriate toys that are perfect for keeping kids busy while you attend a study group, meeting, or appointment.
